Pre-sunrise foggy morning flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-30-18 (1080p) (1).
Flight took place in the airspace over an empty lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:37am PDT on 10-30-18 (or, "2018-10-30T07:37" or, "2018 30 Oct." or even, "October 30, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy with moderate fog in the vicinity (visibility ~300 feet (~91.4M); IFR for real pilots, VFR for low-altitude R/C pilots), temperature was 43°F (5.1°C), and winds as measured with my el stupido "rotten school bus urine* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls those things even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were mainly calm at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "Metalingus" by the metal group Alter Bridge.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
I added, "NSFYE!" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the title because not everybody who comes to YouTube to watch R/C drone videos is a metalhead and would appreciate the surprise earwhipping. :-)
I increased altitude to 122M (~400 feet) in an attempt to get above the fog layer and pan the camera around; but since I do not have FPV I could not see the drone or what was above/below it. As you can see in this video, I never did break through the fog layer. Just lots of white -- occasionally punctuated by streetlights below :-(
* School buses aren't living creatures and do not uranate like one, therefore therefore there is really no such thing as school bus urine -- rotten or not. ;-)
Unexpectedly brief* pre-sunrise flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-29-18 (1080p) (1).
Flight took place in the airspace over an empty lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:30am PDT on 10-29-18 (or, "2018-10-29T07:30" or, "2018 29 Oct." or even, "October 29, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 42°F (5.6°C), and winds as measured with my stupid "rotten snake pee** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls those things even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were mainly calm at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "House 90,s" (note the use of the comma instead of the apostrophe) by the German electronica group Monkey Zound.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
* Unexpectedly brief because the flight battery went to LVC just 1:54 into the flight and initiated LVC auto-land at approx. 2:37.
** Snakes (all ectothermic critters, actually) do not go poddy like most mammals do (by storing their tee-tee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as snake pee. ;-)
Slightly brief* post-sunset flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-28-18 (1080p) (3).
Flight took place in the airspace over the 1020-block of Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 6:16pm PDT on 10-28-18 (or, "2018-10-28T18:16" or, "2018 28 Oct." or even, "October 28, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 50°F (10°C), and winds as measured with my stupid "rotten salamander piddle** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "Wormholio" by the EDM group Far Too Loud.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pi$$es you off.
At the end of the flight, it did crash-land, but I do not believe that any significant damage was incurred.
* Slightly brief because the drone engaged LVC at ~3:00 and auto-landed approx. 30 seconds later
** Salamanders (all ectothermic critters, actually) do not go poddy like most mammals do (by storing their wee-wee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as salamander piddle. ;-)
Flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-28-18 (1080p) (2).
Flight took place in the airspace over an empty lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA at 1:09pm PDT on 10-28-18 (or, "2018-10-28T13:09" or, "2018 28 Oct." or even, "October 28, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy with intermittent light rain, temperature was 57°F (13.9°C), and winds as measured with my stupid "rotten paper wasp larva piss* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were gusty from the WSW to 7.0mph (11.27kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "Disco of the 80s" by the German electronica group Monkey Zound.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
* Paper wasp larvae (all insects, actually) do not pass micturition (#1) like most mammals do (by storing their poddy in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as paper wasp larva piss. ;-)
Near-sunrise flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-28-18 (1080p) (1).
Flight took place in the airspace over an empty lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:57am PDT on 10-28-18 (or, "2018-10-28T07:57" or, "2018 28 Oct." or even, "October 28, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 50°F (10°C), and winds as measured with my stupid "rotten worm pee* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls those things even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were gusty from the SSW to 3.80mph (6.12kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "(Another) 1984" by Billy Squier.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
* All annelids (worms) do not pass micturition (#1) like most mammals do (by storing their poddy in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as worm pee. ;-)
Flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-27-18 (1080p) (3).
Flight took place in the airspace over an empty lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 1:23pm PDT on 10-27-18 (or, "2018-10-27T13:23" or, "2018 27 Oct." or even, "October 27, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 55°F (12.8°C), and winds as measured with my stupid "strong armadillo piss" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls those things even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were calm at the surface.
The music that you hear is demo zax from the pee-cee computer program Synth-Werk titled, "Trailer Demo HD bestservice".
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it torques you off.
Miners do not appear in this video. Whether they're mining tin, ruthenium, platinum, liquid neon, nitrium, perisium, talgonite, calcium, fluorine, iron, gaseous helium, polonium, pergium, etc., you ain't gonna find em here folks! ;-)
(YouTube has this thing about miners appearing in videos for reasons as-of-yet unknown) ;-)
It's beginning to look like the flight battery may have gone to hell in a handbasket right out of the box; I should be hitting close to 10 minute flight times now (because I've run the battery through no fewer than 20 complete charge/discharge cycles) but I'm still getting sub-six minute flight times. :-/
I'm now on the hunt for one of the flight batteries for my (now-lost) Syma X8C drone (I have two of the little f***ers!), as they are of the same voltage and current capacity (2S battery; 7.40V 2Ah) as the OEM battery for this drone.
I'm also considering using a 3S (3-cell, 11.10 volts) flight battery once I receive confirmation that it is safe to do so.

Brief 2nd NIGHT* flight of my Global Drone X183 WiFi FPV GPS Drone 10-26-18 (1080p) (5).

* Brief 2nd NIGHT* because I simply wanted to see how my Fitfort 4K Action Cam (used as the drone's flight camera) dealt with very low lighting levels -- quite feeble lighting in this case. I DIDN'T NEED TO MAKE A FULL FLIGHT in order to determine this.
I had made a night flight already, but there was dense fog that obscured the city lights -- this flight took place without the fog. :-)
That bright bluish-white light that you see near the end of the video is me with a Nitecore Tube flaslight (set to minimum intensity) in my mouth; I had it so that I could keep an eye on the radio's L:CD while flying the drone.
The camera's lens appears to be smudged as evidenced by the diagonal line artifacts coming out of brighter light sources.
