Very brief* Venus & Jupiter-hunt. flt. of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-22-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 4:29am PDT on 07-22-20 (or, "2020-07-22T04:29" or "2020 22 Jul." or even, "July 22, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 66°F (18.9°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong grey mouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Outrun" (the song is titled, "Splash Wave") by Sega from 1985

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

* Very brief because the only impetus for making this flight was to image the Class Y terrestrial planet Venus; the second planet in sector 001 (the Terran system) and the Class J gas giant planet Jupiter; the fifth planet in sector 001.

***NSFYE*** Very wm wx.* sunset flt of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-21-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:11pm PDT on 07-21-20 (or, "2020-07-21T20:11" or "2020 21 Jul." or even, "July 21, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 95°F (35°C) and temperature decreasing to 86°F (30°C) as the spectral type G2 main sequence yellow dwarf star near the center of our planetary system sank below the horizon, and winds measured with my el stupido "strong rat piss yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally variable to 0.30mph (0.48kph) at the surface.

Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but relaxing) bubble bath (add a generous extra squirt or two of bubble soap to the bath water -- trust me, you'll need them!), and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice soothing Anthrax. This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Anthrax has *NO SWEAT DULCET TONES* and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *SOOTHING!!!* ;-)
It's like box jellyfish venom to the ears of many!!! :-O

I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons floating in their loos or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that dented can of gold spray paint and the holey, paint-soaked, slightly yellowed (formerly white) hand towel that fell into the toilet earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to discard the yucking fucky thing. :-)
(That towel was holey?!? Maybe they should invest in some mothballs {naphthalene or 1,4-Dichlorobenzene [aka. paradichlorobenzene]} -- and get that damn stupid butt wagon to stop passing micturition (peeing) on the sodding thing as well, hahaha!!! ;-D)

That greenish-blue "flare" that you see early and late into the flight was just me (unsuccessfully) attempting to shoot down the gay** little plastic drone with my Directly-Injected 5mW 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen. ;-)

Motor temperature was measured at 99.5°F (37.5°C), battery temperature was 113.3°F (45.2°C), and maximum camera temperature was 99.1°F (37.3°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 86°F (30°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

The flight looks a bit discontinuous because the phone went into the screen where you choose your open app once (fairly early on) during the flight; this neutralised the recording in progress though I restarted it a moment later (after closing & then relaunching the app).

You'll also see the drone land shortly after takeoff -- this was because I had forgotten to activate the anti-collision strobes so I landed, turned them on, and took off again.

* Very warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 95°F (35°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.

** Gay = bright and lively, *NOT* homosexual. ;-)

***NSFYE*** Warm wx.* ISS-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-20-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-18-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace near the intersection of N. Hayston Ave. and E. Garland Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:25am PDT on 07-18-20 (or, "2020-07-18T08:25" or "2020 18 Jul." or even, "July 18, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 73° (22.8°C) increasing to 77°F (25°C) as the flight wrapped up (like a douche) ;-), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong polar bear micturition yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 1.70mph (2.74kph) at the surface.

I included the song, "Restless Child" -- this is the famous, "Westwood perspiration" song, hahaha!!! :-)

Motor temperature was measured at 91°F (32.8°C), battery temperature was 108.5°F (42.5°C), and maximum camera temperature was 94°F (34.4°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.

It was much like the damn unwelcome butt wagon party guest who went poddy into the punchbowl again. :-(

The ISS was well within the camera's field of view, but it was just too dim (est. magnitude -0.80) to be imaged by the drone's camera. :-(

Warm weather* ISS-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-15-20 (1080p) (2)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 9:16pm PDT on 07-15-20 (or, "2020-07-15T21:16" or "2020 15 Jul." or even, "July 15, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Metallica has *NO SWEAT DULCET TONES* except for the songs, "The Call of Ktulu" and, "Orion" and both of these songs are in tonight's video -- so I guess you won't have to fashion aural tampons out of Cleanax or assiton assimilators, hahaha!!! ;-)

That green "flare" that you see several times during the flight was just me (unsuccessfully) attempting to shoot the gay** little plastic drone out of the sky with my Directly-Injected 5mW 505nm Bluish-Green ("mint green") Laser Pen.

Data from NASA's Spot The Station website:
Wed. Jul 15 9:19am PDT. Visible: 6 min. Max. azimuth: 84°, Appears: 10° above SW. Disappears: 11° above NE.

Dammit! Fv¢k€d yet once more!!! :-(
It was much like the damn unwelcome butt wagon of a party guest who uranated into the punchbowl again. :-(

Its apparent magnitude was high enough (approx. -3.2) but it passed overhead at too high an azimuth for the drone's camera to image.
*SO I CHEATED!* I landed the drone and then used it as one might use a handheld video camera so that I *WAS ABLE* to image the ISS! :-)

* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

Brief ISS-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-15-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 4:35am PDT on 07-15-20 (or, "2020-07-15T04:35" or "2020 15 Jul." or even, "July 15, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 68°F (20°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 0.20mph (0.32kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the Pee-Cee computer demo, "Delusion" by Sonic PC from 1992 and zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Hang On" by Sega from 1986.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

While I was flying the drone, I "heard" the song, "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" by John Denver and was a wee bit puzzled by some of the lyrics:

? Well I got me a fine wife I got me an ole fiddle ?
? When the sun's coming up I got cake on the griddle ?
? Life ain't nothing but a funny funny riddle! ?
? Thank God I'm a country boy. ?

I kept thinking what kind of butt wagon would attempt to cook a birthday cake (or any other kind of cake for that matter) on a griddle at 0552 hours?
On a *FV¢K!NG GRIDDLE* for Daria sakes!!! :-O

Data from NASA's Spot The Station website:
Wed. Jul 15 4:38am PDT. Visible: 6 min. Max. azimuth: 66°, Appears: 10° above NW. Disappears: 11° above ESE.

Dammit! Fv¢k€d yet once more!!! :-(
It was much like the damn unwelcome butt wagon of a party guest who took a plop into the punchbowl again. :-(

Its apparent magnitude was high enough (approx. -2.2) but it passed overhead at too high an azimuth for the drone's camera to image.

*, ** Gimbal -- -- horse puckey! Horse puckey!! HOOOOOOOORRRRSE PUCKEY!!! :-(
It behaves very similarly to a JJPRO "EPIK+" X5 drone in this regard; you can adjust the camera's Y-axis (vertical tilt) from the radio, but no, no gimbal.
