***NSFYE*** Warm weather* sunset flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-08-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the desiccated front lawn of the St. James Episcopal Cathedral located at 4147 E. Dakota Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at exactly 8:00pm PDT straight up on 07-08-20 (or, "2020-07-08T20:00" or "2020 08 Jul." or even, "July 08, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 94°F (34.4°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong Kodiak bear poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 4.80mph (7.73kph at the surface.

Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but relaxing) bubble bath (add a generous extra squirt or two of bubble soap to the bath water -- trust me, you'll need them!), and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice soothing Anthrax.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Anthrax has *NO SWEAT DULCET TONES* and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *SOOTHING!!!* ;-)
It's like funnel web spider venom to the ears of many!!! :-O

I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons floating in their bogs or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that dented can of green spray paint and the holey, paint-soaked, slightly yellowed cardigan sweater that fell into the toilet earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to throw the yucking fucky thing away. :-)
(That sweater was holey?!? Maybe they should invest in some mothballs {naphthalene or 1,4-Dichlorobenzene [aka. paradichlorobenzene]} -- and get that damn stupid butt wagon to stop uranating on the sodding thing as well, hahaha!!! ;-D)

I chose the song, "Death from Above" aka., "Jet Fighter" to be first because during my flight, three jet fighters took off from nearby Yosemite Int'l. Airport. :-)

Motor temperature was measured at 99.6°F (37.6°C), battery temperature was 112°F (44.4°C), and maximum camera temperature was a slightly toasty 109.1°F (42.8°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 94°F (34.4°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

The flight looks a bit discontinuous because the phone went into the screen where you choose your open app once (fairly early on) during the flight; this neutralised the recording in progress though I restarted it a moment later (after closing & then relaunching the app).

* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

Warm weather* sunset flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-06-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, an unused group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located near the intersection of E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:15pm PDT on 07-06-20 (or, "2020-07-06T20:15" or "2020 06 Jul." or even, "July 06, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 91°F (32.8°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong blue whale uranation yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variabe to 10.0mph (16.10kph at the surface with wind speeds estimated to be in excess of 25mph (40.25kph) aloft.

The music that you hear are several songs by the rock group the Cars.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

Motor temperature was measured at 93.7°F (34.2°C), battery temperature was 109.6°F (43.1°C), and maximum camera temperature was 99.1°F (37.3°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 91°F (32.8°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

The high continuous wind speeds nocked the flight battery life down quite a bit; the drone was struggling to maintain its position most of the time.

The flight looks a bit discontinuous because the phone inexplicably went into the screen where you choose your open app at least three times during the flight; this neutralised the recording in progress though I restarted it a moment later (after closing & then reopening the app) each time.

* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

Warm wx.* fireworks-hunting** flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-05-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:24pm PDT on 07-05-20 (or, "2020-07-05T20:24" or "2020 05 Jul." or even, "July 05, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 88°F (31.1°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong blue whale uranation yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were mainly clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the hair metal group Dokken.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

Motor temperature was measured at 96.6°F (35.9°C), battery temperature was 112.4°F (44.7°C), and maximum camera temperature was 104.2°F (40.1°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 88°F (31.1°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

The flight was a bit more brief than I had planned for but I had to bring it in so that I could hit the head. :-/

* Warm wx. (weather) in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

** Fireworks-hunting because even though this is no longer the Fourth of July, I'm still hearing assorted bangs and pops in the vicinity.
Funny that I saw or heard no fireworks during the flight, but I heard several loud booms while I was packing up after landing & taking temperature measurements.

Fireworks-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-04-20 (1080p) (2)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 9:03pm PDT on 07-04-20 (or, "2020-07-04T21:03" or "2020 04 Jul." or even, "July 04, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 83°F (28.3°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong dolphin poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were mainly clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa, a selection of patriotic music by unknown artists, and an encore performance of, "Stars and Stripes Forever"

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

While I was flying the drone, I "heard" part of the song, "Saturday In the Park" by Chicago.
The lyrics that I "heard" the most were:

? Saturday in the park, ?
? I think it was the Fourth of July ?
? Saturday in the park, ?
? I think it was the Fourth of July ?
? People dancing, people laughing ?
? A man selling ice cream ?
? Singing Italian songs ?
? Everybody is another ?
? Can you dig it (yes, I can) ?
? And I've been waiting such a long time ?
? For Saturday ?

Motor temperature was measured at 96.4°F (35.8°C), battery temperature was 110.3°F (43.5°C), and maximum camera temperature was 97°F (36.1°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 83°F (28.3°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

Popping good (brief) flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-04-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 11:44am PDT on 07-04-20 (or, "2020-07-04T11:44" or "2020 04 Jul." or even, "July 04, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

This video is *GROUND-BASED* because the flight was made for the sole purpose of seeing if the spinning propellers could detonate "Pow Pow" fireworks -- these are small "fireworks" consisting of sand and a small amount (~80µg {micrograms}) of silver fulminate high explosive wrapped in cigarette paper; this detonates when struck by any hard object wih the only notable effect being a BANG! sound; they are usually thrown at the ground so that they go "BANG!" but I wanted to see if rotating propeller blades would also set them off. :-)

Not at all surprisingly, they did. :-)

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 95°F (35°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong beluga whale poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were gusty and variable but mainly from the ENE to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.

There is no music; this was done intentionally to see if my phone's mic could pick up the popping sounds made by these Pop Pop fireworks.

I used my FPV device only to initialise the drone; it was then shifted to recording duty.

* Very warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 95°F (35°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.

Warm wx. (weather)* fireworks-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-03-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:53pm PDT on 07-03-20 (or, "2020-07-03T20:53 or "2020 03 Jul." or even, "July 03, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 88°F (31.1°C), and winds measured with my el stupido el stupido "rotten alligator urine** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were measured as being generally clam at the surface but winds of approx. 2.0mph (3.22kph) aloft.

Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but soothing) bubble bath (add a generous extra squirt or two of bubble soap to the bath water -- trust me, you'll need them!), and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice relaxing Metallica.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Metallica has *NO SWEAT DULCET TONES* and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *RELAXING!!!* ;-)
It's like black mamba snake venom to the ears of many!!! :-O

I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons floating in their loos or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that dented can of bronze spray paint and the holey, paint-soaked, slightly yellowed Hanes Tagless T that fell into the toliet earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to throw the yucking fucky thing away. :-)
(That T-shirt was holey?!? Maybe they should invest in some mothballs {naphthalene or 1,4-Dichlorobenzene [aka. paradichlorobenzene]} -- and get that damn stupid butt wagon to stop going wee on the sodding thing as well, hahaha!!! ;-D)

Motor temperature was measured at 92.4°F (33.6°C), battery temperature was 108.1°F (42.3°C), and maximum camera temperature was 102°F (38.9°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 88°F (31.1°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

I affixed the Ulanzi DR-01 RGB Drone Strobe Light to the rear of the drone's fuselage (on top), set to generate warm white flashes.

* Warm wx. (weather) in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

** Alligators (all ectothermic critters actually) do not leave a piss like most people do -- by storing their poddy in a flexible sac and then ejecting it into the bog or the walltoliet when the bladder is full. The stupid large biting critter would not be able to flush the can or the whizzer (the toilet or pisser would probably become broken ayway); therefore, there is really no such thing as alligator urine. ;-)

***NSFYE*** Fireworks-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 07-02-20 (1080p) (1)

I was able to spot only one chain of fireworks; they were fired shortly before landing.

Motor temperature was measured at 84°F (28.9°C), battery temperature was 104°F (40°C), and maximum camera temperature was 90.8°F (32.7°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.

***NSFYE*** Fireworks-hunting flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 06-30-20 (1080p) (2)

Flight took place in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 10:20pm PDT on 06-30-20 (or, "2020-06-30T22:20 or "2020 30 Jun." or even, "June 30, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

That green flare that you see was some butt wagon down the street attempting to shoot down the drone with his 532nm DPSS laser.
As you can see, he was unsuccessful. :-)

I was able to spot only one chain of fireworks; they were fired shortly after I launched the flight.
Coincidentally (?), the laser came from the same vicinity that the fireworks were shot from. :-O

Motor temperature was measured at 86°F (30°C), battery temperature was 105.2°F (40.7°C), and maximum camera temperature was 100.5°F (38.1°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), all taken after landing.

*, ** Gimbal -- -- horse puckey! Horse puckey!! HOOOOOOOORRRRSE PUCKEY!!! :-(
It behaves very similarly to a JJPRO "EPIK+" X5 drone in this regard; you can adjust the camera's Y-axis (vertical tilt) from the radio, but no, no gimbal.
