Smokey* very brief** flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Drone 08-21-20 (3)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:31pm PDT on 08-21-20 (or, "2020-08-21T20:31" or "2020 21 Aug." or even, "August 21, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

I've been flying in this location for two primary reasons.

1: It's just been too hot to travel to other flying venues; my only source of transport is my electric wheelchair.
2: This is the only camera drone that I have; I do have another decent (brushless) drone that flies but I do not yet have a camera for it (the one that I ordered in May never did show up; I have to wait until I receive my COVID-19 economic stimulus check later this month before I can order another). If this drone were to become a "fly-away" or otherwise go down in a location that I cannot access, I'd truly be SOL.

Weather conditions at flight time were smoke*, temperature was 85°F (29.4°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it causes you to become piddled-off or makes your ears bleed.

That greenish-blue beam and blue beam that you see is my attempt at seeing how the drone's camera images laser radiation with all of the smoke in the air. I used my Directly-Injected 5mW 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen and my Blue-Emitting Laser Pen 5mW 445nm 450nm.

I flew the Contixo F24 with the Android app made for the SJR/C F11; the appearance is quite similar and their functionality is basically identical.
This offers up additional proof of what I already suspected: that these drones are rebadged versions of one another and are otherwise identical.

* smoke/smokey because there are several wildfires burning nearby; most notably the Hills Fire near Coalinga and the Canyon Fire in Stanislaus County.

Smokey* warm weather** flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 08-21-20 (1080p) (2)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:00pm PDT straight up on 08-21-20 (or, "2020-08-21T19:00" or "2020 21 Aug." or even, "August 21, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

If this drone were to become a "fly-away" or otherwise go down in a location that I cannot access, I'd truly be SOL.

Weather conditions at flight time were smoke*, temperature was 88°F (31.2°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong giraffe pee yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable and gusty to 4.00mph (6.44kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is song, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by the hard rock group Iron Maiden.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it causes you to become piddled-off or makes your ears bleed.

Motor temperature was measured at 99°F (37.2°C), battery temperature was 111.1°F (43.9°C), maximum camera temperature was 98°F (36.7°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), and phone temperature measured 105.6°F (40.9°C); all taken after landing.
Ambient temperature was 88°F (31.2°C) when these measurements were taken.

Camera temperature is now being monitored because as of mid-May 2020 I've become aware of several reports that the camera was, "too hot to touch" after flights.

I flew the Contixo F24 with the Android app made for the SJR/C F11; the appearance is quite similar and their functionality is basically identical.

See that bluish-white light in the sky?
That my friends, is the SUN!!! :-O

I believe that it appears this color instead of dull orange because the Sun's NIR and IR emissions far exceeded its visible emissions through all of the smoke, and most digital cameras image NIR radiation as a shade of bluish-white.

** Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 9:02apm PDT on 08-21-20 (or, "2020-08-21T09:02" or "2020 21 Aug." or even, "August 21, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

If this drone were to become a "fly-away" or otherwise go down in a location that I cannot access, I'd truly be SOL.

Weather conditions at flight time were heavily filtered sun (filtered by smoke)*, temperature was 77°F (25°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong donkey pee yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is just a random selection of songs that I picked by simply clicking willy-nilly in my OTHER MUSIC subdirectory; and the last isn't actually music at all; it goes as follows: The children's interactive book, "Poddy Time With Elmo" saying, *"Uh o! Who wants to die?"* followed by Jaxen Ross on YouTube repeating the phrase.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it causes you to become piddled-off or makes your ears bleed.

Motor temperature was measured at 93.5°F (34.2°C), battery temperature was 109°F (42.8°C), maximum camera temperature was 95.9°F (35.5°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), and phone temperature measured 110.7°F (43.7°C); all taken after landing.

The music that you hear are several songs by the EDM group Far Too Loud.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it causes you to become piddled-off or makes your ears bleed.

I added, "***NSFW***" (Not Safe For Work) because one of the songs has some poddy mouth in it and I'd hate to learn that you got shitcanned from your job because you were watching the video, the boss walked by, and heard the computer asking to have its speakers washed out with soap. :-O

Motor temperature was measured at 110.9°F (°C), battery temperature was 114.5°F (°C), maximum camera temperature was 104.3°F (°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), and phone temperature measured 109.5°F (°C); all taken after landing.

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 100°F (37.8°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "strong donkey pee yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam but with occasional gusts from the N to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the EDM group Far Too Loud.

That orangish "flare" that you see several times during the flight was just me trying to hose down the drone with my brand spanken new RLP-780-10 780nm Laser Pen.
The orangish color is because that's how the drone's camera "sees" near-infrared radiation; the light is almost invisible to the unaided eye.

Motor temperature was measured at 112.6°F (44.8°C), battery temperature was 122.9°F (50.5°C), maximum camera temperature was 122.1°F (50.1°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), and phone temperature measured 115.8°F (46.6°C); all taken after landing.

Hot weather* near-sunset flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 08-16-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:34pm PDT on 08-16-20 (or, "2020-08-16T19:34" or "2020 16 Aug." or even, "August 16, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

If this drone were to become a "fly-away" or otherwise go down in a location that I cannot access, I'd truly be SOL.

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 104°F (40°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "rotten wolf spider poddy** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the Pe-Cee computer demo, "Crystal Dream" by the PC demo group Triton and zax from the PC demo, "Cascalyzer -- Xmas Mix '91 (the song is called, "Impossibility").

** Wolf spiderss (all arachnids actually) do not have a wee like most people do; by storing their p-p in an expandable sac and then ejecting it into a whizzer or a loo when the bladder is full. The painfully-biting critter would not be able to flush the walltoliet or john anyway, therefore there is really no such thing as wolf spider poddy. ;-)

Very warm weather* sunset flight of my Contixo F24 Brushless Foldable Drone 08-15-20 (1080p) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:40pm PDT on 08-15-20 (or, "2020-08-15T19:40" or "2020 15 Aug." or even, "August 15, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mainly clear, temperature was 98°F (36.7°C), and winds measured with my el stupido "rotten garter snake uranation** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally from the S gusting to 8.30mph (13.36kph) at the surface with extended gusts estimated at 20.00mph (32.20kph) aloft.

The music that you hear are a pair of songs by ELO and the song, "R2-D2 (Lives in My Ass)" by the Rochester NY comedy synthpunk act Worm Quartet.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it causes you to become piddled-off or makes your ears bleed.

That blue "flare" that you see early and again late into the flight was just me (unsuccessfully) attempting to shoot down the gay*** little plastic drone with my Blue-Emitting Laser Pen 5mW 445nm 450nm. ;-)

Motor temperature was measured at 108.1°F (42.8°C), battery temperature was 113.2°F (45.1°C), maximum camera temperature was 106°F (41.1°C) (measured on the front edge of that raised area just behind the lens where it gets the warmest), and phone temperature measured 109°F (42.8°C); all taken after landing.

*** Gay = bright and lively, *NOT* homosexual. ;-)

Videos Made By the Contixo F24 1080p Brushless Foldable Drone w/ Gimbal* (Pg. 12)

*, ** Gimbal -- -- horse puckey! Horse puckey!! HOOOOOOOORRRRSE PUCKEY!!! :-(
It behaves very similarly to a JJPRO "EPIK+" X5 drone in this regard; you can adjust the camera's Y-axis (vertical tilt) from the radio, but no, no gimbal.
