Flight of my C-Fly DREAM GPS Drone 03-07-20 (1080p) (2).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the north parking lot of the Fallas Discount Store located at 3011 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 12:34pm PST on 03-07-20 (or, "2020 03-07T12:34" or, "2020 07 Mar." or even, "March 07, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 61°F (16.1°C), and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong polar bear micturition yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 4.50mph (7.25kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from several demos by the Commodore Amiga computer demo group Dekadence.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.
Video latency is extremely high; I could never recommend the C-Fly DREAM as an FPV flier for this reason.
Latency during this flight was unexpectedly low; being under 2 seconds for much of the duration -- but increasing to over one minute by the time LVC RTH kicked in. :-( |
In the DREAM's defense, it does make a rather nice LOS flyer.
This flight is dedicated to Tim's late wife Debbie.
Tim (Repaid1 on the RCGroups fora) graciously donated the MicroSD memory chip that recorded this flight. :-)
Dawn flight of my C-Fly DREAM GPS Drone 03-07-20 (1080p) (1).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, a group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located alongside E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 6:11am PST on 03-07-20 (or, "2020 03-07T06:11" or, "2020 07 Mar." or even, "March 07, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 52°F (11.1°C), and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong rat urine yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 3.10mph (4.99kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Outrun" by Sega from 1985.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.
That blue "flare" that you see early into the flight was just me taking pot shots at the drone with my Blue-Emitting Laser Pen (5mW 450nm). ;-)
Video latency is extremely high; I could never recommend the C-Fly DREAM as an FPV flier for this reason.
Latency during this flight was unexpectedly low; being under 2 seconds for most of the duration -- though still too long to safely fly FPV on.
In the DREAM's defense, it does make a rather nice LOS flyer.

Twilight flight of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-06-20 (1080p) (3).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, a group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located alongside E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 6:11pm PST on 03-06-20 (or, "2020 03-06T18:11" or, "2020 06 Mar." or even, "March 06, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 68°F (20°C), and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "rotten cicada uranation* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Cascalyzer computer demo, "Cascalyzer", zax from the coin-op arcade pinball machine, "F-14 Tomcat" by Williams Electronics from 1987, zax from the Pee-Cee computer demo "Verses" by the PC demo group Electromotive Force (EMF).
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.
Video latency is extremely high; I could never recommend the C-Fly Dream as an FPV flier for this reason.
Latency ranges from a matter of milliseconds (when the drone is first launched) to well over three minutes!!! :-O
Though in the Dream's defense, it does make a decent LOS flyer.
This flight is dedicated to Tim's late wife Debbie.
Tim (Repaid1 on the RCGroups fora) graciously donated the MicroSD memory chip that recorded this flight. :-)
* Cicadas (all insects for that matter) do not visit the loo like most people do (by storing their poddy in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra and into the bog or whizzer when the bladder is full) -- the noisy insect would not be able to flush the head anyway; therefore there is really no such thing as cicada uranation. ;-)
Flight of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-06-20 (1080p) (2).
Flight took place (launched anyway) over the airspace in the parking lot of the Happy Market at 4605 E Shields Ave.; rapidly moving to the airspace above the former site of the Four Square Church (behind the Happy Market) and then back to the Happy Market's parking lot in Fresno CA. USA at 11:55am PST on 03-06-20 (or, "2020 03-06T11:55" or, "2020 06 Mar." or even, "March 06, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 68°F (20°C) increasing to 81°F (27.2°C) as the flight concluded, and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "rotten blue-ringed octopus poddy* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.
The music that you hear are several songs from the 1990s video group Green Jellÿ.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

* Blue-ringed octopodes (all cephalopods for that matter) do not uranate like most mammals do (by storing their tee-tee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as blue-ringed octopus poddy. ;-)
***NSFYE*** Cool weather* sunrise flight of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-06-20 (1080p) (1).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, a group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located alongside E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:14am PST on 03-06-20 (or, "2020 03-06T07:14" or, "2020 06 Mar." or even, "March 06, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 50°F (10°C), and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.
Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but soothing) bubble bath, and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice relaxing Anthrax. ;-)
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it ticks you off or makes your ears bleed.
*THE FV¢K?!?*
Anthrax has *NO SWEET DULCET TONES* and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *RELAXING!!!* ;-)
It's like trapdoor spider venom to the ears of many!!! :-O
I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons** floating in their toilets or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that dented can of bronze spray paint and the holey, paint-soaked, sports sock that fell into the head earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to throw the yucking fucky things away. :-)
(That sock was holey?!? Maybe they should invest in some mothballs {naphthalene or 1,4-Dichlorobenzene [aka. paradichlorobenzene]} next time around, hahaha!!! ;-D
While flying my drone, I "heard" the song, "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croche but with different lyrics.
To wit:
? If I could save piss in a bottle, ?
? There's nothing that I'd rather do, ?
? Than to save all my wee 'till eternity ends ?
? Just so I could splash it with my dick. ? :-O

* Cool weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 33°F (0.6°C) to 51°F (10.6°C) at flight time.
** Unlike EDM (which is not a real thing according to the group Far Too Loud), aural tampons *ARE* a real thing: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=aural+tampon :-O
***NSFYE*** Nite* flite* of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-05-20 (1080p) (4).
Flite* took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, a group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located alongside E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 10:15pm PST on 03-05-20 (or, "2020 03-05T22:15" or, "2020 05 Mar." or even, "March 05, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 61°F (16.1°C), and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong rhinocerous uranation yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.
The music that you hear are several songs by the hard rock group Krokus.

That cyan "flare" and beam that you see early and again late into the flight was just me (unsuccessfully) attempting to blast the gay* little plastic drone out of the sky with my Directly-Injected 5mW 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen.
And it's kosher for me to fly after sunset because I have the approved FAA anti-collision strobe on my drone.
* Nite and flite instead of night and flight because...well I'll just let the scroll text of a PC computer demo by the C=64 and pee-cee demo group TDM (from 2010) do the talking here: A ? TO EVERYONE: ONLY A FAGGOT WOULD REPLACE "GHT" WITH "TE"... EX. FLIGHT AND FLITE. NIGHT AND NITE. WHAT IS YOUR GUY'S GAY INCEST WITH THE "TE" COMBO?
Dusk flight of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-05-20 (1080p) (3).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 6:11pm PST on 03-05-20 (or, "2020 03-05T18:11" or, "2020 05 Mar." or even, "March 05, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 77°F (25°C) decreasing to 72°F (22.2°C) as the flight wound down, and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong rat urine yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.
The music that you hear are several songs by the hard rock group Van Halen.

That violet "flare" and beam that you see early and again late into the flight was just me (unsuccessfully) attempting to blast the gay* little plastic drone out of the sky with my 5mW 405nm Stable Purple Blue Beam Light Visible Pointer Pen.
And it's kosher for me to fly after sunset (post-sunset, dusk, night) because I have the approved FAA anti-collision strobe on my drone.
A short time after takeoff, I saw a large, very slow-moving bolide (bright meteor) streaking across the sky on a WSW trajectory. It was composed of two distinct objects that were glowing white with a purplish-pink corona surrounding the pair. I watched them for several seconds until they eventually burnt out.
I aimed my drone in their direction and quickly tilted the gimbal to its topmost position, but I believe that the bolide was simply too high in the sky for the drone's camera to image it.
* Gay = bright and lively, *NOT* homosexual. ;-)
Flight of my C-Fly Dream GPS Drone 03-05-20 (1080p) (2).
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, a group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located alongside E. Dakota Ave. between N. Barton Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 12:28pm PST on 03-05-20 (or, "2020 03-05T12:28" or, "2020 05 Mar." or even, "March 05, Twenty-Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 77°F (25°C) increasing to 70°F (26.1°C) as the flight wrapped up, and winds measured with my sodding el stupido "strong tiger piss yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable to 4.20mph (6.76kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear are chip tunes from various games & demos for the Commodore 64 computer.
*LONG LIVE THE MOS 6581 SOUND CHIP!!!*

The video isn't exactly what I was hoping to see. The two times where the drone descends close to the ground are where I brought it down low enough to see the angle of the camera and subsequently adjusted it visually and then ascended again.
This flight is dedicated to Tim's late wife Debbie.

*I deliberately kept the drone close to me (altitude and distance no larger than 5M {~16.4 feet}) to observe the latency. I never saw latency values above 40 seconds, but that's still *FAR TOO LONG* to allow for FPV flight. :-(*
