Very warm weather* sunset flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-14-19 (1080p**) (2)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near a socker pitch, an unused group of three baseball diamonds, and a canal located near the intersection of E. Dakota Ave. and N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:47pm PDT on 08-14-19 (or, "2019-08-14T019:47" or "2019 14 August" or even, "Aug. 14, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 98°F (36.6°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten blue-ringed octopus poddy*** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable and somewhat gusty to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear are three songs by the group Night Ranger and one song by Boston.

These songs aren't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons**** out of nasal tissue or rollios or worry about scrambling to find Q-Tips (or other brand of cotton swabs) with little advance warning. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

L'un peu gros heurtoir de pet (LE FAGOT BAISANT) que vous y voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique baisant fait sauter avec les batteries mortes sacrées stupides est le pilote - moi évidemment! {The somewhat fat fartknocker (THE FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!}

After the ~17 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 98°F (36.6°C), motor temperature was measured at 105.9°F (41.05°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

Just for $#¡7 and giggles, I measured the rotational speed of the motors at standby (I couldn't measure full throttle like I wanted to because there was nothing at the launch site that could have been used to safely weigh the drone down) with my brand spanken new Sunche #HS2234 Digital Tachometer, and here are the results:

Standby: 950 RPM
Max. throttle: (Unable to measure; see directly above to learn why)

* Very warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 95°F (35°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.

** 1080p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

*** Blue-ringed octopodes (all cephalopods for that matter) do not uranate like most mammals do (by storing their T-T in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as blue-ringed octopus poddy. ;-)

Sunrise flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-14-19 (1080p*) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the perimeter of an artificial lake near the intersection of E. Dakota Ave. and N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 6:11am PDT on 08-14-19 (or, "2019-08-14T006:11" or "2019 14 August" or even, "Aug. 14, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 66°F (18.9°C) increasing to 70°F (21.2°C) as the flight wrapped up (like a douche) ;-), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong donkey pee yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally dead clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are some songs by The Eagles, Def Leppard, and ELO.

These songs aren't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons** out of nasal tissue or rollios. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it torques you off.

Warm weather* flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-13-19 (1080p**) (2)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:14pm PDT on 08-13-19 (or, "2019-08-13T20:14" or "2019 13 August" or even, "Aug. 13, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 90°F (32.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong Norway rat poddy yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but soothing) bubble bath, and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice relaxing Raven (the NWOBHM group, not Raven Symoan or however the F you spell the douchenoozle's name). ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off or makes your ears bleed.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Raven has *NO SWEET DULCET TONES* (well, except maybe in the instrumental song, "Bottom Line" and the sub-one minute song, "39-40" -- and neither of those songs is in tonight's video) and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *RELAXING!!!* ;-)
It's like Arizona scorpion venom to the ears of many!!! :-O

I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons*** floating in their toilets or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that toothbrush that fell into the loo earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to throw the yucking fucky thing away. :-)

A group of jet fighters scrambled from Yosemite Int'l Airport while the drone was in the air, so the first song will be, "Death from Above" aka., "Jet Fighter" by the thrash metal group Anthrax. :-)

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

After the almost-20 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 90°F (32.2°C), motor temperature was measured at just 111.1°F (43.94°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

** 1080p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

Hot weather* flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-13-19 (1080p**) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace between the south parking lot of a Soviet-era (it has a name in Russian writing, plus the classic "hammer & sickle" graphic on it) and Vallarta Supermarket located at 3850 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 2:44pm PDT on 08-13-19 (or, "2019-08-13T014:44" or "2019 13 August" or even, "Aug. 13, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 111°F (43.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong black bear poddy" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable and somewhat gusty to 10.00mph (16.10kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the groups Foghat and Van Halen.

These songs aren't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons*** out of nasal tissue or rollios. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it torques you off.

Le transpirant légèrement (hé c'était chaud dehors!) l'un peu gros heurtoir de bout (LE FAGOT BAISANT) que vous y voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique baisant fait sauter avec les batteries mortes sacrées stupides est le pilote - moi évidemment ! {The lightly-perspiring (hey it was hot outside!) somewhat fat buttknocker (THE FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!}

After the ~19 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 111°F (43.9°C), motor temperature was measured at a blistering150.4°F (65.8°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.
Temperatures this high are *NOT* good for the motors; for starters the magnets in the motors could become demagnetised -- and that's terrible bad news!

Today's lesson is to not fly the drone in ambient temperatures of much over 100°F (37.8°C). I actively flew with comparatively little hovering and still got these $#¡77Y insanely high high motor temps. :-/

* Hot weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 104°F (40°C) to 121°F (49.4°C) at flight time.

** 1080p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

Warm weather* flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-11-19 (1080p**) (2)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the perimeter of an artificial lake near the Flexi Store located at 4589 E Dakota Ave. in Fresno CA. USA (this is private property but I *DID* seek {and was granted} permission to fly here by the homeowner) at 2:22pm PDT on 08-11-19 (or, "2019-08-11T14:22" or "2019 11 August" or even, "Aug. 11, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 90°F (32.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten giant squid poddy*** yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the German electronica group Kraftwerk.

This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons**** out of Cleanax or rollios. ;-)

I first tried to fly with my tablet again; no-go so I replaced it with my Coolpad cellular telephone handset -- still no good so I replaced *THAT* one with my Wiko cellular telephone handset and was able to finish the mission. :-)

Extremely brief* flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-11-19 (1080p**) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the SW corner of the parking lot of Arsenio's Mexican Restaraunt located at 3422 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:11am PDT on 08-11-19 (or, "2019-08-11T08:22" or "2019 11 August" or even, "Aug. 11, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 68°F (20°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong Dalmation puppy urine yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987.

This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons*** out of Cleanax or rollios. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

* Extremely brief because my tablet had an *EXTREMELY LONG* latency -- somewhere on the order of *10 to 20 SECONDS!!!* So I performed a manual landing and started swapping it out with cell phones. I tried both of my cellular telephone handsets and neither of them would connect -- the phones' settings indicated a successful connection, but the DJI GO app indicated that the aircraft was disconnected and the camera image was all black. :-(

I'm going to try power-cycling the telephones and see if I have any joy.
The Coolpad handset has a brighter image, but I will fly using the Wico handset if necessary.

***NSFW*** Flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-10-19 (720p*) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over E. Simpson Ave. near N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 8:32am PDT on 08-10-19 (or, "2019-08-10T08:32" or "2019 10 August" or even, "Aug. 10, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 72°F (22.2°C) increasing to 77°F (25°C) as the flight wrapped up (like a douche) ;-), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong Kodiak bear piss yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the early-1990s music video group Green Jellÿ.

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

I added, "***NSFW***" (Not Safe For Work) to the title because one of the songs has the "S" word in it, and I'd hate to earn that you got shitcanned from your job because you were watching the video, the boss walked by, and heard the computer asking to have its speakers washed out with soap. :-O

While I was flying my drone, I "heard" the song, "We Went to the Desert on Our Horses One Day" by America.
That song is a true-blue total fv¢k!ng earworm if ever there was one -- olnly being eclipsed (just barely) by the song, "Afternoon Delight" by the Starland Vocal Band. :-O

***NSFYE*** Near-sunset flights* of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-09-19 (720p**) (3)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the perimeter of an artificial lake near the intersection of E. Dakota Ave. and N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. I chose this location and time specifically to try and get video of the reflection of the setting sun on the lake's surface (I did meet with at least some success in this endeavour).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny becoming mostly clear as the spectral type G2 main sequence star near the center of our planetary system sank below the horizon, temperature was 84°F (28.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "very strong wharf rat poddy yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam but with occasional gusts variable to 5.40mph (8.69kph) at the surface.
