Warm weather* flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-09-19 (720p**) (2)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 6:11pm PDT on 08-09-19 (or, "2019-08-09T18:11" or "2019 09 August" or even, "Aug. 09, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 93°F (33.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong polar bear whiz yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam but with occasional gusts variable to 8.40mph (13.52kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from a couple of Pee-Cee computer demos and a game.

This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons*** out of Cleanax or bungwipe. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

After the ~19 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 93°F (33.9°C), motor temperature was measured at just 98.5°F (36.94°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 94°F (34.4°C) at flight time.

** 720p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

***NSFW*** Flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-09-19 (720p*) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace between the south parking lot of a Soviet-era (it has a name in Russian writing, plus the classic "hammer & sickle" graphic on it) and Vallarta Supermarket located at 3850 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 9:29am PDT on 08-09-19 (or, "2019-08-09T09:29" or "2019 09 August" or even, "Aug. 09, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 72°F (22.2°C) increasing to 77°F (25°C) as the flight came to an end, and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong ground squirrel uranation yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generrally clam but with occasional gusts variable to 4.70mph (7.57kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear are several songs by the Rochester NY comedy synth electro-punk group Worm Quartet. The last isn't actually MUSIC and goes as follows: The children's interactive book, "Poddy Time With Elmo" saying, *"Uh o! Who wants to die?"* followed by Jaxen Ross on YouTube repeating the phrase.

This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons** out of Cleanax or rollios. ;-)

This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

I added, "***NSFW***" (Not Safe For Work) to the title because the Worm Quartet songs are sprinkled liberally with toilet words, and I'd hate to learn that you got shitcanned from your job because you were watching the video, the boss walked by, and heard the computer asking to have its speakers washed out with soap. :-O

L'un peu gros «paquet flamboyant de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) que vous y voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique baisant fait sauter avec les batteries mortes sacrées stupides est le pilote - moi évidemment !! !! {The somewhat fat "flaming bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}

After the ~20 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 72°F (22.2°C), motor temperature was measured at just 90.1°F (32.28°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

***NSFYE*** Warm weather* sunset flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-08-19 (720p**) (3)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the perimeter of an artificial lake near the intersection of E. Dakota Ave. and N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:54pm PDT on 08-08-19 (or, "2019-08-08T19:54" or "2019 08 August" or even, "Aug. 08, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny becoming mostly clear as the spectral type G2 main sequence star near the center of our planetary system sank below the horizon, temperature was 88°F (31.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "very strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam but with occasional gusts variable to 6.20mph (9.98kph) at the surface.

Light some candles, draw a refreshing (but soothing) bubble bath (you may wish to add another generous squirt or two of bubble soap -- trust me you'll need them!!!), and immerse yourself in the sweat dulcet tones of some nice relaxing Exciter. ;-) This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.

*THE FV¢K?!?*
Exciter has *NO SWEET DULCET TONES* and is most certainly neither *NICE* nor *RELAXING!!!* ;-)

I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the video title because not everybody who comes here to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the unwelcome surprise earwhipping and subsequently won't appreciate seeing all of those bloody Q-Tips or used aural tampons*** floating in their toilets or finding empty bottles of ear bleach languishing in their bathroom waste bins or lying on the floor in front of their lavatories (bathroom sinks) along with that slightly dented can of hairspray that fell into the john earlier this morning and they missed the wastepaperbasket when they tried to throw the yucking fucky thing away. :-)

While I was flying the drone, I "heard" the song, "You Fill Up My Head-Head" by John Denver:

? You fill up my head-head, ?
? Like the slimey blue ocean ?
? Like the mountains in springtime, ?
? Like a walk in the rain. ?

After the ~20 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 88°F (31.2°C), motor temperature was measured at just 100.9°F (38.3°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

Post-sunrise flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-08-19 (720p*) (1)

Flight took place (launched anyway) over the airspace in the parking lot of the Happy Market at 4605 E Shields Ave.; rapidly moving to the airspace above the former site of the Four Square Church (behind the Happy Market) and then back to the Happy Market's parking lot in Fresno CA. USA at 6:19am PDT on 08-08-19 (or, "2019-08-08T06:19" or "2019 08 August" or even, "Aug. 08, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 66°F (18.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten cricket poddy** yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, anemometers") ;-) were generally clam but with occasional gusts variable to 3.50mph (5.64kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987 and zax from the Pee-Cee computer demo, "Boost" by the PC demo group Doomsday.
This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons*** out of Cleanax or bungwipe. ;-) This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

While I was flying the drone, I "heard" the song, "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" by John Denver and was a wee bit puzzled by some of the lyrics:

? Well I got me a fine wife I got me an ole fiddle ?
? When the sun's coming up I got cake on the griddle ?

I kept thinking what kind of asshaberdasher would try and cook a birthday cake on a griddle at 0611 hours? On a *FV¢K!NG GRIDDLE* for Christ sakes!!! :-O

** Crickets (all insects for that matter) do not hit the head or visit the whizzer like a person does (by storing their tinkle in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra and into the loo or into the walltoliet when the bladder is full -- the stupid chirping insect would not be able to flush the head or the pisser anyway; therefore there is really no such thing as cricket poddy.

Very warm weather* post-sunset flight of my DJI Phantom 3 Standard 08-07-19 (720p**) (4)

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave.*** in Fresno CA. USA at 7:59pm PDT on 08-07-19 (or, "2019-08-07T19:59" or "2019 07 August" or even, "Aug. 07, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny becoming mostly clear as the spectral type G2 star near the center of our planetary system sank below the horizon, temperature was 95°F (35°C) decreasing to 87°F (30.6°C) as the flight wrapped up (like a douche) ;-), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong wild boar pee yellow" portable digital windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though the bloody things are actually called, anemometers") ;-) were variable and gusty to 5.59.80mph (15.78kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is synthesizer zax by various artistes.
This isn't metal so I don't think that you'll have to fashion aural tampons**** out of Cleanax or bungwipe. ;-)

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

After the ~20 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 87°F (30.6°C), motor temperature was measured at just 104.1°F (40.05°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer.

Battery temperature was measured at 122.3°F (50.17°C) using the same thermometer approx. nine minutes after landing.

* Very warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 95°F (35°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.

** 720p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

*** My electric wheelchair started to function normally again; apparently something inside of it overheated.
Needless to say, today's failed flight attempt will be the last flight that I make in 111°F (43.9°C) temperatures. :-O

After the ~20 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 111°F (43.9°C), motor temperature was measured at just 123.1°F (50.6°C) on my Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer -- which is remarkably cool considering the ambient temperature being so muy caliente!!! :-)

Battery temperature was measured at 132.3°F (55.7°C) a couple of minutes after landing.

* Hot weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 104°F (40°C) to 121°F (49.4°C) at flight time.

** 720p because a sub-20 minute 2.7k video takes approx. six hours to process and upload to YouTube.

*** I had originally intended to fly near the Physiomotion Physical Therapy building located at 4080 N Cedar Ave, but my electric wheelchair decided that, "when BigDroneFlyer1964 is making the right turn off N. Cedar Ave. to access this location" would be a good time to take a $#¡7. :-(
I had to get on the blower to my landlady to come and get me -- she also brought along Raul (a good family friend) so we were able to load the heavy-ass wheelchair into the back of her SUV and get it home.

Until I can obtain another wheelchair or scooter, all of my flights are going to occur here, at the intersection of E. Cortland Ave. and N. Maple Ave., or E. Garland Ave. and N. Hayston Ave. -- all locations that I may be able to access on foot.

At this low velocity, it just doesn't make sense to call them, "gusts" now, doesn't it? ;-)

This flight took place one day after the Range Extender antenna kit was installed on my radio; prior to this I was getting pathetically short range (both vertically and horizontally -- vertical range was less than 250 feet {76.2M} and horizontal range maxed out at approx. 700 feet {~213.36M}) on this drone.

The range extender consists of a +7dBi rod antenna and two +5dBi patch antennae.

For this flight, I switched positions of the rod antenna and one of the patch antennae and we'll see if that makes a positive difference.

(Flight concluded): The performance of the drone was quite a bit better with these antennae vs. the stock antennae -- I altered their positions occasionally during the flight and *SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS* in altitude and distance were evident. I got up to over 400 feet (121.92M) in altitude (I very quickly descended to bring my altitude below 400' to comply with FAA regulations!!!), and almost 1,100 feet (335.28M) in distance.

I also wanted to measure the motor temperature after the flight; my brand spanken new new Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Noncontact IR Thermometer allowed me to do just that.
After the ~18 minute flight at an ambient temperature of 80°F (26.7°C), motor temperature was measured at just 106.9°F (41.6°C).
