FINAL* brief night** flight of my JJR/C X6 Aircus GPS Drone 02-12-20 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 12:11am PST on 02-12-20 (or, "2020 02-12T00:11" or, "2020 12 Feb." or even, "February 12, Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 49°F (10°C), and winds measured with my el stupido sodding "strong tiger piss yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the Pee-Cee computer demo, "Coma Demo" by Crack Rat of TBS (The Brain Slayer).
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

I made this flight specifically to test my blocking the blue LEDs under the forward pylons with black electrical tape to see if there is any improvement in camera performance.

* FINAL because on a flight that I made later this morning, the Aircus became what's known in the hobby as a *FLY AWAY* -- that is, it suddenly took off toward the south, failed to respond to inputs from its radio transmitter, and failed to obey multiple RTH (Return To Home) commands issued from its radio and kept going...and going...and going. :-(

** brief because one of the two recorded videos was corrupted. :-( Night because I wanted to test a minor modification that may allow the camera to function better in low-light situations.

Flight of my JJR/C X6 Aircus GPS Drone 02-11-20 (1080p) (3).

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 9:49pm PST on 02-10-20 (or, "2020 02-10T21:49" or, "2020 10 Feb." or even, "February 10, Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 49°F (10°C), and winds measured with my el stupido sodding "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "The Four Horsemen" by the thrash metal group Metallica and, "R2D2 (Lives in my Ass)" by the Rochester NY synth comedy electropunk act Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

That greenish-blue "flare" and beam that you see fairly early into the flight was just me attempting (and failing rather miserably) to shoot down the drone with my Directly-Injected 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen. ;-)

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

I flew until the drone's low battery RTH brought it in.

Looks like I'm going to have to tape up or otherwise conceal the blue LEDs on the front pylons because they're really fv¢k!ñg up the camera. :-/
You'd think that somebody at JJR/C would have spotted this *BEFORE* they unleashed the Aircus to the general public.

VERY BRIEF* flight of my JJR/C X6 Aircus GPS Drone 02-11-20 (1080p) (2).

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the north parking lot of the Vallarta Supermarket located at 3850 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 3:51pm PST on 02-11-20 (or, "2020 02-11T15:51" or, "2020 11 Feb." or even, "February 11, Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 65°F (18.3°C), and winds measured with my el stupido sodding "strong elephant piss yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

L'organisme cybernétique gai, un peu gros (LE FAGOT BAISANT) que vous voyez la séance dans le fauteuil roulant électrique baisant fait sauter avec «muet comme une boîte de marteaux» les batteries mortes sacrées dans cela est le pilote - moi évidemment! {The gay, somewhat fat cybernetic organism (THE FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see sitting in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the "dumb as a box of hammers" gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!}

* VERY BRIEF because silly me forgot to press the RECORD button on the radio until it was performing a low battery RTH. :-(

BRIEF* Maiden flight of my JJR/C X6 Aircus GPS Drone 02-11-20 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 2:49pm PST on 02-10-20 (or, "2020 02-10T14:49" or, "2020 10 Feb." or even, "February 10, Twisted-Stick-Tire" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 65°F (18.3°C), and winds measured with my el stupido sodding "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is the song, "Sawed-Off Shogun" by The Glorious Sons and the songs, "Recursively Anatomically Correct" and, "R2D2 (Lives in my Ass)" by the Rochester NY synth comedy electropunk act Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (LE FAGOT BAISANT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (THE FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

* BRIEF because I had limited airspace to work with and because I was not able to disable the inbuilt "geofencing" feature designed to benefit n00bs; it performed an auto RTH (Return To Home) and landed itself. :-/
