Very brief* warm weather** flights of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Drone V2700 with GPS 04-28-19 (720p) (3)
Flights took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near the intersection over E. Cortland Ave. and N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 2:22pm PDT on 04-28-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-28T14:22" or "2019 28 Apr." or even, "April 28, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were sunny and clear as a fv¢k¡ñg bell, temperature was 95°F (35°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten octopus urine*** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 4.40mph (7.08kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" by Sega from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it ticks you off.
This drone makes a piddle-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage. The camera angle *CAN* be adjusted prior to launch or between flights however; this is better than a totally fixed-position camera.
* Very brief because it flew properly for just a matter of seconds and then inexplicably landed fairly hard onto the tarmac; subsequent flight attempts resulted in utter failure. :-(
** warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.
*** Octopi (all cephalopods actually) do not go poddy like most people do (by storing their wee-wee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra and into the loo or into the whizzer when their pissinary bladder is full -- the sea critters wouldn't be able to flush the bog anyway); therefore there is really no such thing as octopus urine. ;-)
Brief* warm weather** flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-28-19 (2) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace near the intersection over E. Cortland Ave. and N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 1:06pm PDT on 04-28-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-28T13:06" or "2019 28 Apr." or even, "April 28, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 88°F (31.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong doormouse poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 6.50mph (10.47kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear are the songs, "Pipeline" by the thrash metal group Anthrax and, "R2-D2 (Lives In My Ass)" by the Rochester NY synth comedy electropunk group Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the title because the first song is metal and not everybody who comes to YouTube to watch R/C drone videos is a metalhead and would appreciate the surprise unwelcome earwhipping.
Le "tas de bâtons enflammés" (LE FAGOT PUTAIN) un peu gros que vous voyez dans le putain de fauteuil roulant électrique avec ces stupides batteries mortes est le pilote - moi bien sûr!t! {The somewhat fat "flaming pile of sticks" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
This drone makes a tinkle-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage. The camera angle *CAN* be adjusted prior to launch or between flights however; this is better than a totally fixed-position camera.
* Brief because the flight battery was already pretty much petered-out at launch time due to the fact that I was installing & uninstalling upgrades; the drone had been turned on for ~40 minutes during this process.
** Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.
Brief* flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-28-19 (1) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. Fresno CA. USA at exactly 7:00am PDT on 04-28-19 (or, "2019-04-28T07:00" or "2019 28 Apr." or even, "April 28, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 60°F (15.6°C), and winds clocked with my stupid sodding "strong chinchilla micturition yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were clam at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Atari coin-op arcade video game, "Road Blasters" from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}
This drone makes a poddy-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage. The camera angle *CAN* be adjusted prior to launch or between flights however; this is better than a totally fixed-position camera.
* Brief because while the port (left) front motor has started to function sufficiently well to allow flight, it is consuming more current from the battery which results in a shorter flight time. The video also skips *MOST* frames for reasons as-of-yet unknown; the actual flight time was closer to *NINE MINUTES* rather than just over one minute as this video might suggest. :-/
Brief* warm weather** flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-27-19 (3) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) over the airspace in the parking lot of the Happy Market at 4605 E Shields Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 1:55pm PDT on 04-27-19 (or, "2019-04-27T13:55" or "2019 27 Apr." or even, "April 27, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 95°F (35°C), and winds clocked with my stupid sodding "rotten wolf spider poddy*** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 3.80mph (6.12kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" by Sega from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
This drone makes a piss-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Brief because the drone was incredibly difficult to control and soon ended up on the roof of the Happy Market convenience store. :-(
It was retrieved by a store employee approx. six hours after the crash. :-)
** Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.
*** Wolf spiders (all arachnids, actually) do not hit the head like most people do (by storing their piss in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra and into the loo or uranator when the bladder is full -- the spider would have trouble flushing as well); therefore there is really no such thing as wolf spider poddy. ;-)
NSFW! Brief flights of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-27-19 (2) (720p)
Flights took place (launched anyway) near the intersection of E. Dayton Ave. and N. Sierra Vista Ave. (this is a Jr. High School campus), moving to near the intersection of E. Corland Ave. and N. Backer Ave. after I discovered that the Jr. High campus was now outside of a geofenced area; e.g., I had attempted multiple launches within a "no fly zone" that *USED TO BE KOSHER FOR FLYING* in Fresno CA. USA at 11:47am PDT on 04-27-19 (or, "2019-04-27T11:47" or "2019 27 Apr." or even, "April 27, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 85°F (29.4°C), and winds clocked with my stupid sodding "strong wallaby uranation yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 3.80mph (6.12kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Commodore Amiga computer demo, "Software Make The Dance Foam Oil" by Epidrena and Rave Overscan Network.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
I added, "NSFW!" (Not Safe For Work) to the title because the song drops the F-bomb a few times.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K¡NG F46607) that you see is the pilot -- me of course!}

Brief flights of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-26-19 (2) (720p)
Flights took place (launched anyway) in the parking lot of the Wall*Mart at 3131 Cedar in Fresno CA. USA at 8:32am PDT on 04-26-19 (or, "2019-04-26T08:32" or "2019 26 Apr." or even, "April 26, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were sunny and clear as a fv¢k¡ñg bell, temperature was 72°F (22.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong Weddel seal micturition yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Commodore PET computer demo, "No Pets Allowed" by the C= PET demo group Orb.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
I downgraded the firmware to factory defaults after I found that upgrading it caused the drone to not record video or photos at all. :-/
* Brief final? because when I neutralised the radio in order to test the auto-RTH failsafe, the drone simply fell out of the sky from ~75 feet (22.9~M) and hit the tarmac (pavement) upside-down, causing the front port (left) propeller to become jammed. I'm uncertain as to whether or not I'll be able to successfully repair it.
I see that the drone saw its own shadow; that either means six more weeks of $#¡77Y weather or the drone is totally fuxxored and I'll have to wait (see directly below) before I can fly a UAV again. :-/
At this point though, it looks like at least two to three weeks before I'll be up in the air again; probably with my BaYangToys X21 which is still up in Washington State (in a box containing other drones & quads, some test equipment, and some school yearbooks), due to be mailed to me around the first of May 2019.
(Edit 04-27-19): The drone flies again!!! :-)

Brief* flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-23-19 (720p) (1)
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over the parking lot of The Light of the World church located at 3731 N Cedar Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 7:27am PDT on 04-23-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-23T07:27" or "2019 23 Apr." or even, "April 23, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 64°F (17.8°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten squid poddy** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is the song, "Heartbeat City" by The Cars.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
This drone makes a piss-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Brief because the video inexplicably stopped and then later resumed recording during the ~10 minute flight. :-/
(Actually, now that I've viewed the video in its entirety, the drone stops and restarts recording *MULTIPLE* times for reasons as-of-yet known. P:-(
** Squid (all cephalopods actually) do not uranate like most people do (by storing their pee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra and into the loo or into the urinal when their bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as squid poddy. ;-)
