Flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-22-19 (720p) (1)
Flight took place (launched anyway) near the intersection of E. Garland Ave. and N. Hayston Ave. Fresno CA. USA at 8:08am PDT on 04-22-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-22T08:08" or "2019 22 Apr." or even, "April 22, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 59°F (15°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong sea lion poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 4.70mph (7.57kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "The Small Hours" by the thrash metal group Metallica.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
While I was flying my drone, I "heard" the song, "Hotel California" by The Eagles.
This drone makes a piss-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
Very brief* Easter night flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-21-19 (2) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) on the 3600-block of N. Maple Ave. Fresno CA. USA at 11:06pm PDT on 04-21-19 (or, "2019-04-21T23:06" or "2019 21 Apr." or even, "April 21, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 61°F (16.1°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong polar bear piddle yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were from the SW gusting to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "S.O.S. (Sawed-Off Shogun)" by The Glorious Sons.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.
The video plays twice in order to accommodate the length of the music.
This drone makes a poddy-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Very brief because I just wanted to see how well (or how poorly) the drone's flight camera coped with low light levels; I did not need to make a full flight in order to determine this.
As you can see, the camera performs adequately; not fantastic but not $#¡77Y either.
Brief* Easter Sunday flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-21-19 (1) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) near the intersection of E. Dayton Ave. and N. Sierra Vista Ave. (this is a Jr. High School campus) in Fresno CA. USA at 3:31pm PDT on 04-21-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-21T15:31" or "2019 21 Apr." or even, "April 21, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 75°F (23.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong polar bear piss yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were from the SW gusting to 1.00mph (1.61kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax called, "Network" by Skaven of the Finnish PC computer demo group Future Crew.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
This drone makes a poddy-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Brief because at stage 1 LVC, the recording process inexplicably terminated.
Some laser colors as seen by my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS.
The lasers were in this order (by wavelength from longest to shortest):
532nm Yellowish green (this is the common DPSS green laser pen wavelength)
505nm Slightly bluish-green
488nm Greenish-blue
450nm "Dental" blue
Ambient light was daylight filtering in through the curtains.
The music that you hear is zax from the Commodire Amiga computer video game, "Flashback".
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
***NSFYE*** Flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-20-19 (3) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the airspace over E. Simpson Ave. near N. Maple Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 1:40pm PDT on 04-20-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-20T13:40" or "2019 20 Apr." or even, "April 20, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 75°F (23.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten porpoise uranation yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 4.30mph (6.92kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear are the songs, "Trapped Under Ice" and, "The Unforgiven II" by the thrash metal group Metallica.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
I added, "***NSFYE***" (Not Safe For Your Ears) to the title because not everybody who comes to YouTube to watch R/C drone videos is a metalhead and would appreciate the surprise unwelcome earwhipping. :-)
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}

Brief* flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-20-19 (2) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) in the parking lot of the Valley Christian Center at 4649 E. Shields Ave. in Fresno CA. USA at 11:28am PDT on 04-20-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-20T11:28" or "2019 20 Apr." or even, "April 20, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly sunny, temperature was 72°F (22.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong chinchilla poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 5.70mph (9.18kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is the song, "Synth Werk" by the German electronica group Monkey Zound.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
This drone makes a piss-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Brief because the video recording inexplicably terminated mid-flight; this was very probably the result of my inadvertently pressing the VIDEO shoulder button on the radio and NOT any fault of the drone at all. This is commonly known as, "pilot error" hahaha!!! :-)
Flight of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-20-19 (1) (720p)
Flight took place (launched anyway) near the intersection of E. Dayton Ave. and N. Sierra Vista Ave. (this is a Jr. High School campus) in Fresno CA. USA at 7:11am PDT 04-20-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-20T07:11" or "2019 20 Apr." or even, "April 20, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer)
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 59°F (15°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "rotten jellyfish micturition* yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 2.00mph (3.22kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Commodore Amiga computer demo, "Hardwired" by the Amiga demo groups Crionics and The Silents.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
Warm weather* quasi-maiden** flights*** of my Sky Viper Journey Pro Video Drone V2700 with GPS 04-19-19 (1) (720p)
Flights took place (launched anyway) near the intersection of E. Dayton Ave. and N. Sierra Vista Ave. (this is a Jr. High School campus) in Fresno CA. USA at 6:16pm PDT on 04-19-19 (or, (or, "2019-04-19T18:16" or "2019 19 Apr." or even, "April 19, Twenty Stick-Seriously-Fracked-Up-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature was 92°F (33.4°C), and winds measured with my stupid sodding "strong Weddel seal poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things are actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were variable gusting to 2.00mph (3.22kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the Commodore 64 computer video game, "Master of the Lamps" by Activision from 1984.
«Le paquet brûlant quelque peu gros de brindilles» (FOUTU FAGOT) ces vous voyez dans le fauteuil roulant électrique foutu soufflé avec les batteries mortes sapristi stupides dans lui est le pilote -- je naturellement! {The somewhat fat "burning bundle of twigs" (FV¢K!NG F46607) that you see in the blasted fv¢k¡ñg electric wheelchair with the stupid gosh darn-diddly-arn dead batteries in it is the pilot -- me of course!!}
This drone makes a piss-poor aerial videography platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.
* Warm weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C) to 103°F (39.4°C) at flight time.
** quasi-maiden because on its true maiden flight, the drone failed to record video *AND* the app would not fully launch. It did fly correctly however.
*** flights because I brought it in to adjust the camera angle and then flew some more.
THIS VIDEO HAS EXTREME LATENCY AND "FREEZING" ISSUES BECAUSE IT WAS RECORDED VIA THE APP AS THE DRONE REFUSES TO RECORD ON THE MICROSD MEMORY CHIP THAT IT WAS OUTFITTED WITH!!! :-(
(Edit 04-20-19): The cause was determined to be the MicroSD chip itself; turns out that the drone simply didn't like this particular MicroSD memory chip, despite the fact that it functioned properly in several other drones and in my Fitfort 4K Action Cam.
My landlady just so happened to have some random MicroSD chip lying around, and when I tried it just for shits & giggles, it worked! :-D
