Cold weather* flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-13-18 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place in the airspace over a grassy vacant lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:47am PST on 11-13-18 (or, "2018-11-13T07:47" or, "2018 13 Nov." or even, "November 13, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 29°F (-1.7°C), and winds measured with my stupid "rotten garter snake micturition** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is the song, "EURODISCO 'New Hi-NRG' (2012) retro italo disco 80's space synth dance NEW!" (as it is titled on YouTube) by an unknown artiste.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it torques you off.
On at least one occasion, the drone exhibited a rather minor TBE (Toliet Bowl Effect) where it would rotate in tight circles with no change in yaw, which will very likely show up in this video.
You have been fairly warned -- yet AGAIN! :-)

Also, the X21 appears to be a bit unstable when it is landing and has touched down; it has a tendency to fall over forward or backward while the props are still rotating shortly after contacting the ground.
It landed correctly this time however -- even the rotor blades automatically stopped just a matter of milliseconds after touch down! :-)

That blue-green "flare" that you see late into the flight was me irradiating the drone with my Directly-Injected 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen.

* Cold weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 11°F (-11.7°C to 32°F (0°C) at flight time.

** Snakes (all ectothermic critters, actually) do not go poddy like most mammals do (by storing their piddle in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as garter snake micturition. ;-)

Somewhat screwy* flights of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-12-18 (1080p) (3).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Puget St. in Shelton WA. USA at 3:41pm PST on 11-12-18 (or, "2018-11-12T15:41" or, "2018 12 Nov." or even, "November 12, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature was 59°F (15°C), and winds measured with my stupid "rotten cicada tinkle** yellow" portable digital anemometer were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Black Lodge" by the thrash metal group Anthrax and, "Bring the Noise" by Pubic Enemy and Anthrax.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

On a number of occasions, the drone exhibited a rather significant TBE (Toliet Bowl Effect) where it would rotate in tight circles with no change in yaw, which will very likely show up in this video.
You have been fairly warned -- again! :-)

Also, the X21 appears to be a bit unstable when it is landing and has touched down; it has a tendency to fall over forward or backward while the props are still rotating shortly after contacting the ground.

* Somewhat screwy flights because TBE was clearly evident during most of the first flight. I brought it in before LVC and took it for a brief test flight in our back yard (on the 1020-block of Ellinor Ave.). TBE was not present then, so I don't know exactly what's going on. I performed drone cabration the same way I did for the previous flight.
Perhaps the drone doesn't like this particular location for some reason. :-/

** Cicadas (all insects, actually) do not hit the head like most mammals do (by storing their poddy in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra {and into a toliet or urinal like most humans do} when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as cicada tinkle. ;-)

Cool weather* flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-12-18 (1080p) (2).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot along Summit Dr. between Ellinor Ave. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 10:25am PST on 11-12-18 (or, "2018-11-12T10:25" or, "2018 12 Nov." or even, "November 12, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature was 43°F (6.1°C), and winds measured with my stupid "strong camel poddy yellow" portable digital anemometer were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "EURODISCO 'New Hi-NRG' (2012) retro italo disco 80's space synth dance NEW!" (as it is titled on YouTube) by an unknown artiste and, "Recursively Anatomically Correct" by the Rochester NY comedy synth electro-punk group Worm Quartet.

Cold weather* pre-sunrise flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-12-18 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot along Summit Dr. between Ellinor Ave. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:07am PST on 11-12-18 (or, "2018-11-12T07:07" or, "2018 12 Nov." or even, "November 12, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 29°F (-1.7°C), and winds measured with my stupid "rotten seagull whiz** yellow" portable digital anemometer were from the ENE gusting to 3.80mph (6.12kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade pinball machine, "F-14 Tomcat" by Williams Electronics from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

Sunrise had not yet taken place at ground-level; however the sun could be seen from the drone near cruising altitude (~80 meters) during approx. the latter half of this flight.

* Cold weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 11°F (-11.7°C to 32°F (0°C) at flight time.

** Seagulls (all birds, actually) do not go and have a wee like most mammals do (by storing their poddy in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when the bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as seagull whiz. ;-)

Cool weather* slightly brief night Flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-11-18 (1080p) (3).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot along Summit Dr. between Ellinor Ave. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:00pm PST straight up on 11-11-18 (or, "2018-11-11T19:00" or, "2018 11 Nov." or even, "November 11, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly clear, temperature was 37°F (2.8°C), and winds as measured with my el stupido "strong polar bear poddy yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Light Sticks" by the EDM group Far Too Loud and, "You Were Wrong Cabinet Sanchez" by the Rochester NY comedy synth electro-punk group Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

I used my Fitfort 4K Action Cam instead of the OEM camera because that camera went to pot in early-April 2018.
And I recorded the video in 1080p because a 4K video of this length would take *DAYS* to process, not minutes (a *30-second* video that I recorded in 4K a month or so ago took almost *10 HOURS* to process!!! It would take nearly a week to process the video from a full flight of this drone in 4K!!!) :-O

That blue-green beam that you see late into the flight (where the white light was originating from) was me irradiating the drone with my Directly-Injected 488nm Greenish-Blue ("cyan") Laser Pen.

And that warm-white light that you see on the ground is my Arc LS Prototype flashlight from 2001 that I affixed to one of the armrests of my electric wheelchair to act as a headlight (it was directed somewhat downward which is why it doesn't appear blindingly bright!).
There are only two specimens of the Arc LS Prototype known to exist on the planet and this is one of them! :-D

While I was flying it, I "heard" this fictional, phoney-bologna fake made-up song, sung to the tune of, "Row Row Row Your Boat", which went like this:

? Fly fly fly my drone ?
? Fly it for orange juice! ?
? Merrily merrily merrily ?
? Fly it into Betelgeuse! ?**

** Most everybody knows that quadcopters (or any other propeller-driven aircraft for that matter) can't fly in a vaccum but I needed to find a word that rhymed with, "juice". ;-)
Betelgeuse (pronounced as though it were spelled, "Beetlejuice") is a red supergiant star that was ejected from the Orion OB1 Association.

I would never condone the wanton destruction of any multirotor (or heli or fixed-wing aircraft -- or *ANY* type of R/C or actual aircraft for that matter) by flying it toward a destructive source like a supergiant star, white dwarf star spewing verteron particles, blue giant star, neutron star, supernova, graviton ellipse (spatial anomaly 521), Wolf-Rayet star, Cepheid variable star, magnetar, the Paulson Nebula, binary or trinary stars, astral eddy, pulsar, quasar, black hole, etc.
Betelgeuse is going to go supernova any time now, so why take a chance? ;-)

* Cool weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 33°F (0.6°C) to 50°F (10°C) at flight time.

Flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-11-18 (1080p) (2).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot along Summit Dr. between Ellinor Ave. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 2:33pm PST on 11-11-18 (or, "2018-11-11T14:33" or, "2018 11 Nov." or even, "November 11, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were fair, temperature was 55°F (12.7°C), and winds as measured with my el stupido"strong dolphin piddle yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were somewhat variable from the WNW to the NNE gusting to 3.10mph (4.99kph) at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Acid 9000" and, "Shockwave" by the EDM group Far Too Loud.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.

I used my Fitfort 4K Action Cam instead of the OEM camera because that camera went to pot in early-April 2018.

Cold weather* flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-11-18 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place in the airspace over a grassy** vacant lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:17am PST on 11-11-18 (or, "2018-11-11T07:17" or, "2018 11 Nov." or even, "November 11, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 32°F (0°C), and winds as measured with my el stupido "rotten scorpion urine*** yellow" portable digital "windometer" (as JD from JD Quad in the UK calls them even though those things actually called, "anemometers") ;-) were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is demo zax made by the Pee-Cee program Synth-Werk titled, "Trailer Demo HD Bestservice" and, "Musique Electronique".
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

I affixed my Fitfort 4K Action Cam to the underside of drone's fuselage (because the OEM camera is shot -- it went to pot on the drone's maiden "flight") for this and all subsequent flights of this drone.
I mounted it into the OEM camera's bracket which should help to mitigate jello; though the drone's landing sprigs will be visible because this camera has a relatively wide-angle lens.
I had to make a very slight modification to the bracket; this simply entailed removing a piece of foam from the inside of the moveable portion of the bracket that was pressing down the camera's shutter button when this part of the bracket was swung down to be latched.

I figured it out!
I figured out why GPS lock occurs on the ground (prelaunch) but fails shortly after liftoff!!
I figured out Blue Clues!!! :-)
The positioning of my action cam on the upper surface of the fuselage was to blame. Once I modified the OEM camera's bracket to accept my Fitfort 4K Action Cam where it was designed to go, the GPS lock remained rock stable!!! The camera's electronics were apparently causing interference with the front-end of the GPS receiver; moving the camera solved this issue! :-D

* Cold weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 11°F (-11.7°C to 32°F (0°C) at flight time.

** Grassy because in case the drone inexplicably falls out of the sky again, I want to help ensure maximum survivability of the drone itself, its props, its landing sprigs, and the camera (which was already damaged during an ESC failure-induced crash {and subsequent destruction} of my Global Drone X183 several days ago).

*** Scorpions (all arthropods actually) do not go poddy like most mammals do (by storing their pee-pee in an expandable sac and then ejecting it through the urethra when that pissinary bladder is full); therefore there is really no such thing as scorpion urine. ;-)

Flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-10-18 (1080p) (3).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant, grassy* lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Olympic Hwy. S. in Shelton WA. USA at 2:12pm PST on 11-10-18 (or, "2018-11-10T14:12" or, "2018 10 Nov." or even, "November 10, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 52°F (11.1°C), and winds measured with my stupid "strong rhinocerous piss yellow" portable digital anemometer were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Die Hard the Hunted" by Def Leppard and, "R2-D2 (Lives in my Ass)" by the Rochester NY comedy synth electro-punk group Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

I affixed my Fitfort 4K Action Cam to the upper side of drone's fuselage (crash damage to the camera on the final flight of my Global Drone X183 on 11-08-18 prohibits me from mounting it on the underside of the fuselage as intended) for all flights of this drone.

For reasons as-of-yet unknown, the GPS lock occurs on the ground (prelaunch) but GPS contact is lost shortly after liftoff, necessitating me to fly the X21 like a non-GPS drone such as a Syma X8C. :-O

* Grassy because in case the drone inexplicably falls out of the sky again, I want to help ensure maximum survivability of the drone, its props, its landing sprigs, and the camera (which was already damaged during an ESC failure-induced crash {and subsequent destruction} of my Global Drone X183 a couple of days ago).

Cool weather* flights** of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-10-18 (1080p) (2).

Flights took place in the airspace over an vacant, grassy*** lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Olympic Hwy. S. in Shelton WA. USA at 9:27am PST on 11-10-18 (or, "2018-11-10T09:27" or, "2018 10 Nov." or even, "November 10, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 39°F (3.9°C), and winds measured with my stupid "strong camel urine yellow" portable digital anemometer were generally clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the Commodore Amiga computer demo, "Hardwired" by the Amiga demo groups Crionics and The Silents.

* Cool weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 33°F (0.6°C) to 50°F (10°C) at flight time.

** Flights because at just over 6½ minutes into the first flight, the radio (transmitter) started to raise a stink, which I thought may have been a low battery alarm, but when I looked at the receiver (drone) battery voltage on the radio's LCD, it indicated that I was still at 11.2 volts. So I landed and attempted to stop the motors. That was not successful, so I grabbed the (still-running) drone by one of its landing sprigs and used the other hand to unplug the flight battery. So I turned the radio back on, plugged up the drone's flight battery again, and recalibrated. Once complete, I lifted off and flew some more until I noted that the LEDs on the underside of the drone's pylons went into a very slow blink -- I brought it in at that point, shut everything down, and returned home.

*** Grassy because in case the drone inexplicably falls out of the sky again, I want to help ensure maximum survivability of the drone, its props, its landing sprigs, and the camera (which was already damaged during an ESC failure-induced crash {and subsequent destruction} of my Global Drone X183 a couple of days ago).

Cool weather* quasi-maiden** flight of my BaYangToys X21 Brushless Double GPS Drone 11-09-18 (1080p) (1).

Flight took place in the airspace over an vacant lot near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 2:16pm PST on 11-09-18 (or, "2018-11-09T14:16" or, "2018 09 Nov." or even, "November 09, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 45°F (7.2°C), and winds measured with my stupid "rotten porcupine urine yellow" portable digital anemometer as being generally dead calm at the surface.

The music that you hear is the song, "Dj ATTaCK" by B-Shield.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

* Cool weather in this context means an ambient temperature of 33°F (0.6°C) to 50°F (10°C) at flight time.

** Quasi-maiden because on its true maiden flight on 04-10-18, it climbed to approx. 15 feet (4.57M) and then just summarily fell out of the sky, shooting parts & pieces everywhere -- and I do mean *EVERYWHERE!!!* I was able to recover and reinstall all of the parts except for the port (left) rear prop and the motor nut. I have spare props but no spare motor nuts so I had to order more from Japan (received on 04-30-18) before I could fly the drone again, hence the fairly lengthy delay.

This time I was absolutely, positively, 100% certain that all four prop nuts were tightened *VERY FIRMLY* (almost to the point of wrench breakage!) before leaving the house for this flight!

The radio (transmitter) petered out when I attempted a quasi-maiden flight on 05-02-18 (the drone never even left the ground), so I ordered another one. It came from China, hence the long lead time (it finally arrived on the afternoon of 07-02-18 -- exactly two months to the day after I ordered it).

For reasons as-of-yet unknown, it started functioning today!!! :-)
The OEM camera does not record video, so I affixed my Fitfort 4K Action Cam to the X21 drone's fuselage.
