Brief windy day* flights of my Air Pigs USS Enterprise NCC-1701A Quadcopter 03-18-18 (1)
Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Dearborn Ave. and Holman St. in Shelton WA. USA at 4:51pm PDT on 03-18-18 (or, "2018-03-18T16:51" or, "2018 18 Mar." or even, "March 18, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 54°F (12.2°C), and winds measured with my handy-dandy portable digital anemometer as being from the W at 4mph (6.44kph) at the surface.
The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987.
The product is not audio- (sound-) sensitive in any manner; the music can safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
* Brief windy day because the winds were gusting far too strongly to maintain adequate control of the quad, so I called it quits early so that the poor, innocent, helpless, defenseless thing would not end its life on somebody's rooftop or high in a tree. :-O
Pre-sunrise* flights of my Air Pigs USS Enterprise NCC-1701A Quadcopter 03-17-18 (1)
Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Dearborn Ave. and Holman St. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:03am PDT on 03-17-18 (or, "2018-03-17T07:03" or, "2018 17 Mar." or even, "March 17, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature was 35°F (1.8°C), and winds measured with my handy-dandy portable digital anemometer as being dead clam at the surface.
* Pre-sunrise because I just wanted to see all of those kool lights on the quad while it was in flight.
I attempted to keep the quad relatively close as much as I could for that very reason.
This is the flight that I attempted last night, but as you could see in the video from last night (03-16-18) that it was simply too windy.
The batteries in the radio are apparently going to pot; I had a devil of a time trying to control the quad despite the absence of wind and its effective range was extremely short.

* Post-sunset because I just wanted to see all of those kool lights on the quad while it was in flight.
I attempted to keep the quad relatively close as much as I could for that very reason. The flights were brief simply because it was too gosh darn-diddly-arn windy. :-O
** The reason that I call it a 'quadcopter' (shortened to 'quad' at times) and not a 'drone' is primarily because this unit does not come with a camera of any type. In my opinion, for an aircraft of this type to be called a drone, it must at least have a camera capable of recording video; having GPS and its associated autonomous flight modes simply reinforces that.
NSFW!* Brief somewhat craptastic** flights of my Air Pigs Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701A Quad 03-16-18 (2)
Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. moving to over a vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Olympic Hwy. S. The product is not audio- (sound-) sensitive in any manner; the music can safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.
* NSFW! because the song drops the F bomb a couple of times, and I don't want to learn that you got s**tcanned because the boss heard some toliet language coming from your cubical. :-O
** Brief somewhat craptastic because the quad would not always respond to radio commands, and because it was just a wee bit too windy. It even crash-landed near the center line of the highway, then lifted off by itself, flew over the southbound lane, and came to rest still on the highway but near the curb where I could easily rescue it before something unfortunate befell it.
