Flight of my Hubsan X4 Star PRO H507A GPS R/C Camera Drone 02-16-18 (2) (720p)

Flight took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Dearborn Ave. & Holman St. in Shelton WA. USA at 3:16pm PST on 02-16-18 (or, "2018 16 Feb." or even, "February 16, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy with light rain, tapering off to extinction approx. three minutes into the flight -- then becoming mostly cloudy near the flight's end, temperature was 50°F (5°C), and winds measured with my portable anemometer were from the SSW gusting to 9.40mph (15.13kph) at the surface with (unmeasurable, but physically observed) significantly higher extended gusts aloft.

(The slightly fat {vulgar slang term for gay male (F46607)} with the stupid yellow anemometer around his neck sitting in the gosh damn electric wheelchair that you see waving to the little drone near the beginning of the video is the pilot -- me of course).

Video content is the same as https://youtu.be/lDdba9Xj_hI but different music allows for this video to be G-rated. Besides, not everybody who comes to YouTube to watch drone vidz is a metalhead and would appreciate the surprise earwhipping. :-)

The music that you hear are the songs, "Computer World" and, "Home Computer" by the German electronic group Kraftwerk.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it still piddles you off.

This drone makes a poor aerial video platform because it does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted directly into the drone's fuselage.

I got a flight time of almost 10½ minutes; I'm now officially a happy camper!!! :-D

Flights* of my Hubsan X4 Star PRO H507A GPS R/C Camera Drone 02-11-18 (1) (720p)

Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Arcadia Ave. and Boundary St. in Shelton WA. USA at 12:14pm PST on 02-11-18 (or, "2018 11 Feb." or even, "February 11, Twenty Stick-Infinity-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature was 46°F (7.8°C), and winds measured with my new portable anemometer were from the E gusting to 2.40mph (3.86kph) at the surface with higher gusts aloft.

(The slightly fat {vulgar slang term for gay male (F46607)} with the stupid yellow anemometer around his neck sitting in the gosh damn electric wheelchair that you see waving to the little drone near the beginning of the video is the pilot -- me of course).

The music that you hear is zax from the coin-op arcade video game, "Afterburner ][" aka., "Afterburner Deluxe" by Sega from 1987.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner and these are instrumentals; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it still piddles you off.

* Flights because I changed the first flight battery when it was down to 15% and replaced it with a second -- which I also flew to 15%.

Shortly after swapping out the flight battery, the drone inexplicably broke contact with the app -- neither the sticks or buttons on the remote control functioned nor did any of the controls on the app. Shutting down the app and relaunching it took me right where I left off and the remainder of the flight went normally.

The gosh darn-diddly-arn plastic drone landed smack dab in the middle of a puddle at flight's end; however no permanent damage appears to have resulted.

At approx. 8:25 into this video (shortly after swapping out the flight battery), the drone inexplicably broke contact with the app -- neither the sticks or buttons on the remote control functioned nor did any of the controls on the app. Shutting down the app and relaunching it took me right where I left off and the remainder of the flight went normally.

* Cold weather in this context refers to an ambient temperature of 32°F (0°C) or lower at flight time.

It appears as though the camera's lens is dirty -- note the smudgy appearance in the top left quadrant of the video -- but the exterior surface of the lens is absolutely spotless; so the contaminant has to be on the inner surface and got there at the factory.

This H507A is the replacement that arrived earlier today; it replaces the one with a motor that pooped out unexpectedly soon a week ago today. I have MS and no longer have sufficient fine motor control to disassemble the quad or to solder a replacement motor in, so I got a whole new quad. I'd never be able to afford to do that with a DJI Phantom or Mavic, but I was able to pull it off with this drone.
