Flights of my Flybear FX-802 RTF R/C Aeroplane 03-07-16 (1)
Flights took place over the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (currently a business known as Shelton Outfitters) near the intersection of Cascade Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-07-16 (or, "2016 07 Mar." or even, "March 07, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were overcast, temperature of 43°F (7.8°C), and winds reported as being from the W at 2mph (1.595kts, 4.83kph) but with observed winds exceeding 6mph (5.214kts, 9.66kph).
Experience has shown that this aeroplane flies best in near dead-calm winds because it is so lightweight and has comparatively large wings. :-O
The music that you hear is the song, "Song 2" by Blur.

Flights of my Flybear FX-802 RTF R/C Aeroplane 03-06-16 (1)
Flights took place over the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (currently a business known as Shelton Outfitters) near the intersection of
Cascade Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-06-16 (or, "2016 06 Mar." or even, "March 06, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you
prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were overcast with rain increasing to a fairly heavy downpour as the final flight terminated, temperature of 45°F (7.2°C),
and winds reported as being clam.
The map pin that I inserted into the nose cone yesterday afternoon was insufficient; this time, I taped a nickel to the underside of nosecone to help move
the CG forward so we'll see how that goes. :-)
Welp, the nickel was too much :-( so I replaced it with a penny...and that was a bit too much as well. So I moved the penny backward to just in front of the
landing gear struts, and that gave me acceptable flights.
The music that you hear is the song, "Twentieth Century Man" by the Scorpions.

Flights of my Flybear FX-802 RTF R/C Aeroplane 03-05-16 (2)
Flights took place over the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (currently a business known as Shelton Outfitters) near the intersection of
Cascade Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA on the afternoon of 03-05-16 (or, "2016 05 Mar." or even, "March 05, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were light rain increasing to moderate rain as the flights progressed, temperature of 61°F (16.1°C), and winds reported as
being variable gusting to 4mph (3.47kts, 6.44kph).
The map pin that I inserted into the nose cone was insufficient; so I'll have to break out the heavy artillery next time around.

Maiden flights of my Flybear FX-802 RTF R/C Aeroplane 03-05-16 (2)
Flights took place over the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (currently a business known as Shelton Outfitters) near the intersection of Cascade Ave. and Olympic Hwy. Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature of 49°F (9.4°C), and winds reported as being from the SW gusting to 5mph (4.30kts, 8.04kph) but physical observations indicated that winds had gusts not exceeding 2mph (1.595kts, 4.83kph).
The gay little styrofoam aeroplane is significantly tail-heavy; giving it more than ~30% throttle causes it to tilt upwards and quickly stall. So I inserted a map pin into the nose cone and we'll see how it flies with this modification.
