Brief UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flight 03-29-15 (1).
Flight took place near my home at the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Holman St. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-29-15 (or, "2015 29 Mar." or even, "March 29, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were partly sunny, temperature of 45°F (7.2°C), and winds out of the SW gusting to 4mph (3.47kts, 6.44kph).
I attached two quarters and a nickel (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 5¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the canopy in order to give it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.
The asshaberdasher in the black and white checkered jacket is the pilot -- me of course. ;-)
It was a bit too windy, that's why the heli looks like it's hovering in much of this video even though I was giving it full forward hammer. It crashed into overhead CATV cable, which apparently destroyed its camera -- however, I can easily swap out the camera from my last UDI U13A and be back to shooting aerial video in no time.
This video is 33.55578942683 megabytes (33,672,736 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than one hundred sixty seven minutes to load at 48.0Kbps.

UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flights 03-27-15 (2).
Flights took place near my home at the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Mason St. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-27-15 (or, "2015 27
Mar." or even, "March 27, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were moderately dense fog (visibility less than 500 feet {152.5 meters}; IFR for real pilots; VFR for low-
altitude R/C pilots), temperature of 46°F (7.8°C), and winds out of the W at 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).
I attached two quarters and a nickel (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 5¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the canopy in
order to ive it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.
The first flight terminated when the heli crashed into overhead CATV cable ~1:40 into this video and plunged to the surface, shattering the
canopy. But after some quick on-the-spot repairs (reaffixing the two quarters that got blown off), the heli was still airworthy and provided an
excellent second flight.
That "homosexicle" in the black and white checkered jacket is the pilot -- me of course. ;-)
This video is 8.00052468322 gigabytes (8,189,843,938 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than forty thousand minutes (!?!) to load at 48.0Kbps.

UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flight 03-27-15 (1).
Flight took place near my home near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-27-15 (or, "2015 27 Mar." or even, "March 27, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were dense fog (visibility less than 200 feet {61 meters}; IFR for real pilots; VFR for low-altitude R/C pilots), temperature of 41°F (5°C), and winds generally calm but gusting out of the WNW to 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).
I attached two quarters and a nickel (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 5¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the canopy in order to ive it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.

UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flights 03-26-15 (2).
Flights took place near my home at the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Mason St. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-26-15 (or,
"2015 26 Mar." or even, "March 26, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy with patchy light fog in the vicinity, temperature of 48°F (8.9°C), and winds out
of the SSW to 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).
For reasons as-of-yet known (though I now suspect the flashing tail boom lights have something to do with this), the gay little metal &
plastic helicopter fails to lift off, even though its flight battery wwas charged until the light on the charger turned green. FYI
again, this is the new heli that I just received yesterday (03-25-15). I got it to fly well by turning the tail boom lights off.
I attached two quarters and a nickel (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 5¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the
canopy in order to ive it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.

Brief UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flights 03-26-15 (1).
Flights took place near my home at the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Mason St. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-26-15 (or, "2015 26 Mar." or even, "March 26, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy with dense fog (visibility less than 100 feet {30.5 meters}; IFR for real pilots; VFR for low-altitude R/C pilots) in the vicinity, temperature of 51°F (10.6°C), and winds out of the SSW to 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).
For reasons as-of-yet known, the gay little metal & plastic helicopter fell out of the sky, and would no longer function properly as though its flight battery had crapped out (a larger, 400-size Syma S031G heli that I have does the same thing), but I had it on the charger last night until the light on the charger turned green. FYI this is the new heli that I just received yesterday (03-25-15).
I attached two quarters and a nickel (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 5¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the canopy in order to give it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.

UDI U13A R/C Camera Heli flight 02-17-15.
Flight took place near my home along Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 02-17-15 (or, "2015 17 Feb." or even, "February 09, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature of 32°F (0°C), and winds generally calm with occasional gusts variable to 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).
I taped a quarter, a nickel, and two pennies (a United States 25¢ coin, a United States 5¢ coin, and a United States 1¢ coin, respectively) to the front of the canopy in order to give it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.
The gay little heli seemed to have trouble gaining altitude for the first couple of minutes as though the flight battery was pooped out; but I had it on the charger until the light turned green.
That F46607 in the black and white checkered jacket that you may see is the pilot -- me of course. ;-)

I removed the canopy and attached two quarters and two pennies (a United States 25¢ coin and a United States 1¢ coin, respectively) to the front edge of the flight battery in order to give it greater forward velocity and make it better able to fight minor headwinds.
Looks like the main rotor shaft became even more bent in yesterday's crash, as evidenced by the video being more fuxxored than it was before. :-/
